Firestore is empty. Load the three signature templates from the repo defaults, then add your colleagues on the People tab and your company details on the Company tab.
Select somebody from the list to see their signature, or choose Company only.
The dark preview darkens the ground and the inherited text colour, which is what Apple Mail, Outlook and Gmail on desktop do. Gmail on Android/iOS also inverts colours the signature declares for itself — that part is not simulated, so treat dark here as a legibility check rather than a guarantee.
